Matrix42 Node for n8n
Community node verified by n8n that connects n8n with Matrix42: tickets, data fragments and objects, queries, imports and a trigger.

Connecting Matrix42 with the other tools a company uses is a large part of our work. What we built for it we publish as open source: a node verified by n8n that brings Matrix42 into n8n workflows and a server that gives AI assistants safe access to a Matrix42 instance. Both are free and we help when you want to use them in production.

Yes. The node and the MCP server are open source and free to use. The node is verified by n8n and installs straight from the nodes panel. The code is on GitHub and the packages are on npm.
It uses the documented public API of Matrix42 ESMP and was last tested with Matrix42 26.1 and n8n 2.36. It needs n8n 1.85 or later.
It finds the right web service, reads the data model, queries records with ASQL and searches tickets, assets, contracts and knowledge articles. It can change tickets too, but only after you switch writing on. Every change is shown as a preview first.
Any client that supports the Model Context Protocol, for example Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code with GitHub Copilot. The README on GitHub has a configuration example for each. The server is listed in the official MCP Registry.
No. They are independent community projects by S&S Technologies that use only the public API. Questions and bug reports go to the issues of the repositories on GitHub.
